Great Wolf Lodge!

So, we are back from our wonderful trip. Everything was great, the kids had so much fun. I was a little worried about Jack sleeping but it all worked out fine. Emily told me she would like to live there!

Here are some pics from our trip-

Hopefully, I'll be able to get these pics scrapped soon! I'm working on my Feb. monthly layouts using our new paper Tostitch (gorgeous!) I'll be posting those pics today or tomorrow!

Thanks for peeking!

Happy Vacation!!

So it is so nice to be on vacation this week! I'm looking forward to some relaxing time with the kids and our trip to Great Wolf Lodge. We had gone once before and had a great time! The kids are very excited and so am I!

Thinking about vacations- I decided to try and get my other vacation pics scrapbooked before I go on Wed. Here is the layout from our trip to Rocking Horse Ranch. Jack was only four months old at the time.

I used Back Country paper and the "happiness" is from one of our new stamp sets- it is called State of Mind and has all these terrific words and definitions on it!

January Layout

Hi all- I know its been quite a while since I've posted anything! Back to work was harder than I thought and I am still adjusting to working and trying to have some time to create!

Here is the January layout for my Monthly group. We used the paper "You Rock" from CTMH. I also added Top Coats (something new) which are clear acrylic images that coordinate with the paper pack! Very cool! Then I Stickled the Top Coats as well.

Buckets for our Bucket Fillers

So in my class this year, we are working on the theme of being "bucket fillers" for each other. This means we try to fill somone's bucket with good feeling and thoughts. Many thanks to my son David's second grade teacher who read the book to us at Open House the other night.

So, I borrowed the book and read it to my fifth grade class on Friday and they loved it! I thought I would surprise them on Monday by giving them each their own bucket, with a name tag and some things to decorate them with. Here is the sample I made for my assisstant:

September News!

Hi all- Can you believe how fast Septmeber is flying by?! As many of you know, I have recently returned to work after a two year leave. To say it has been hectic and quite an adjustment does not even begin to cover it!! However, now that I have a couple of weeks under my belt, I think I'm ready to face the "creative" world again.

I have a few projects I'm working on- including making buckets for our "bucket fillers" in my class and at home and some Halloween goody bags!

Anyway, hope everyone is enjoying the beautiful weather (my favorite time of year).

Holy Moly- where has the time gone?

I can't believe it has been nearly a month since I posted on the blog. Life has been pretty hectic trying to get ready for school and keeping the kids entertained!

I wanted to take a minute to share with you the exciting details of our new campaign for Sept. It's called Delight in the Everyday! This is a terrrific card kit, chock full of goodies including an exclusive stamp set, B&T papers, chocolaste and dutch blue distressing ink, mini- medley accents, ribbon and a sponge.

Contact me to learn how to earn this kit for FREE!

Here is a picture of the gorgeous cards you can make with this kit-

Aren't these cards just beautiful? I'm going to play with this kit tomorrow and see what else I can come up with. One of the nice features of the kit is that the papers are not pre-cut so if you wanted to use them for a layout instead of cards, you can!

Have a great day!

Easy embossed bookmarks!

So I made these bookmarks for my class tonight! I figured everyone must have tons of time for summer reading now! LOL!

I used Playful Flourishes and Treasure Life stamp sets. Then I embossed with black powder and added Stickles for some bling!

Thanks for peeking- have to get ready for my workshop now!!
